Microphlebectomy to
Remove Varicose Veins
For some visible varicose veins, we may recommend microphlebectomy. This minimally invasive, in-office procedure takes about an hour and requires little or no down time.
We start by numbing the skin area on top of the veins. Through a small needle puncture, the vein is located and a small hook pulls it through the skin to remove it. We repeat this process for all problem veins. You may feel a slight pulling sensation during the procedure, but shouldn’t experience any pain. Small punctures heal rapidly without stitches with an excellent cosmetic result.
A microphlebectomy leaves virtually no scars.
