This is to advise that Calcagno & Rossi Vein Surgery Center of Mechanicsburg, PA has in place a nondiscrimination policy that applies to all patients and staff. The policy includes a prohibition on the segregation of buildings, wings, floors, and rooms, and the discriminatory treatment of any employee, staff member, patient or family member or patients partner or personal representative for reasons of race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, handicap or disability.
This policy also addresses our outpatient care, other than by age or gender where privacy concerns are an issue, assigning patients to rooms, floors and sections, assignments or our staff to patient services staff privileges or professionally qualified personnel, use of the Surgery Center and transfers of patients from their rooms.
Calcagno & Rossi Vein Surgery Center has agreed that the operation of this health care facility shall comply with the provisions of the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and all requirements imposed pursuant thereto such that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious creed, or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits or otherwise be subjected to discrimination in the provision of any care or service.
