Dr. David Calcagno has 30 years of experience in the practice of vascular surgery and is board-certified in surgery, vascular surgery, and phlebology (the diagnosis and treatment of vein disease).

He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in chemistry from Tufts University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

He received his medical degree from Duke University Medical School, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Calcagno did his surgical residency at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center and went on to do a vascular surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.

Following fellowship training, Dr. Calcagno served as Chief of Vascular Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center and moved to the Harrisburg area in 1992.

He has practiced vascular surgery in this area since that time and has served as Chief of Vascular Surgery and President of the Medical Staff at Pinnacle Health.

Dr. Calcagno is a fellow of the American College of Phlebology and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a charter member of the American Venous Forum.

Dr. Calcagno has presented at national vein conferences and published articles in medical journals about the treatment of vein disease.

He and his wife, Sarah, live with their children in Carlisle.

Dr. John A. Rossi practices vascular surgery and also has 30 years of experience in the profession. Dr. Rossi is board-certified in surgery and phlebology (the diagnosis and treatment of vein disease).

Dr. Rossi graduated from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He did his training in surgery, including a vascular surgical fellowship at The Hershey Medical Center, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident and Instructor in Surgery.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology, Summa Cum Laude, from Allegheny College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Rossi has held several academic appointments and staff leadership positions during his career, including the Chairman of the Department of Surgery and President of the Medical Staff at Holy Spirit Hospital. He has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Pennsylvania State University. He has authored or co-authored several publications in surgery, vascular surgery and vein disease.

He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Phlebology, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Society of Diplomats, and the International Society for Endovascular Specialists.

Dr. Rossi and his wife, Brenda, reside in New Cumberland and have six children.
